European eclectic. The redesign of this home was a very personal undertaking for Francesca as it involved taking her childhood home and transforming it for a new era of multi-generational family living: a home for both her and her husband as well as her mother and their two dogs.

New spaces were created by adding a second floor and enlarging the main level as well as a head-scratching process of under-pinning the foundation walls. Every inch of the home was considered in the design and construction process to make sure that the spaces, though all new, felt welcoming and as if they had always been there.

The design was born out of traditional details, consideration for treasured pieces of furniture, artwork and decor and an earthy palette reflective of the beloved garden. Francesca wove her Italian heritage in with tile and fixture selections to create spaces designed for a life well lived.
